Jim Wimsatt received his undergraduate degree in International Relations and Spanish from Center College in Danville, Kentucky. He earned his Juris Doctorate in 2003 from Georgetown University Law Center, Washington, D.C. After law school, Jim remained in Washington for the next five years, practicing in the areas of insurance litigation and real estate.

Before becoming associated with Bush Graziano & Rice, P.A., in November, 2010, Jim practiced with a Tampa firm specializing in bankruptcy and foreclosure defense.

Jim is a member of the Florida, Maryland and District of Columbia bars. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, and the United States Supreme Court.

Jim's practice focuses on the defense of long-term care and medical malpractice cases, as well as products liability.
