Attorneys

Courtney Rice joined the Firm in August 2006. Courtney attended Centre College in Danville, Kentucky, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. After graduating from Centre College in 2000, Courtney interned at Dateline, NBC in Washington, D.C. She received her juris doctorate in 2004 from the University of Kentucky College of Law, where she served as production editor of the Journal of Natural Resources and Environmental Law.

Prior to joining Bush Graziano & Rice, P.A., Courtney was a litigation associate with the Louisville, Kentucky firm Reed Weitkamp Schell & Vice, PLLC, where she practiced commercial litigation.

Courtney is a member of the Florida Bar and the Kentucky Bar, as well as the American Bar Association. She is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern and Western District of Kentucky. Her primary practice focuses on the defense of medical malpractice and long-term care cases.
